P CARISIVS LEG PRO PR Bird's eye view of the circular city-wall of Emerita, with gateway and battlements; EMERITA inscribed above gate. BMC 289. CBN 1036. Cohen 397. RIC 9a. Struck on a broad flan and beautifully toned, and with an excellent pedigree. Struck from slightly worn dies, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
